Environmentally friendly employee motivation: Bicycle leasing at EagleBurgmann
Leasing a bicycle instead of buying one - this is what EagleBurgmann has been offering employees since June 2019. In the meantime, more than 130 interested parties from Wolfratshausen and Eurasburg have taken advantage of the "EB Bike" offer. They now enjoy having a mountain bike, e-bike, a classic bike or a bike for their children.
"I finally wanted to conquer my weaker self and do more for my health. Since I enjoy cycling, the leasing offer was a perfect fit for me. With my new e-bike I have an environmentally friendly way of traveling 13 kilometers and arriving motivated at my workplace," says Marieta-Irina Suttner, who works as a specialist at EagleBurgmann.
In his spare time, Herbert Fischer, Senior Operations Director at EagleBurgmann, is often seen on his bicycle. "The affordable leasing offer prompted me to switch to an e-bike. I can leave home right away and don't have to load the bike into the car. My cycling tours have become longer, but I'm still reasonably fit in the evening."
EagleBurgmann arranged interesting conditions with a leasing company for "EB Bike." Nearly 200 employees were also presented with bike helmets that had been ordered and subsidized by the company.
Marieta-Irina Suttner and Herbert Fischer work at EagleBurgmann in Eurasburg and have already extensively tested their new e-bikes.
